Would you rather, whenever anyone says the word “stomach” in your presence, have to give them a moderately hard punch to the stomach* or any time you hear someone say “sad,” have to laugh maniacally for a minimum of 6.3 seconds**?
*If they say “Punch my stomach,” you have to punch them in the stomach. If they say, “My stomach hurts and if anyone punches it, I will puke all over them,” you must still punch their stomach. Strangers, children, popes: they must all be stomach-punched if they say this word in your presence.
**If they say “Ha ha, that joke about the sad person is hilarious,” then you escape pretty easy. If they say “I’m so sad because my puppy just died”, well, your empathy rating goes down a bit.
